Definition of Psychotherapy in my practice…
- Heal mental illness and disorders causing a significant clinical disturbance in an individual's cognitive, emotional state, or behavior.
- Psychotherapy is focused on the past and previous experiences rather than a future vision or goal. In the present, we are resolving issues created through past conditions, experiences, events, or states. Simply stated, we are helping you heal from the past.
- The focus is on healing mental disorders, which are clinically significant disturbances in an individual's cognitive, emotional regulation, or behavior that reflects a dysfunction in psychological, biological, or developmental process underlying mental functioning.
- What is the difference between Healing & Transformation Coaching and Psychotherapy?
Healing & Transformation Coaching focuses on helping you to create and achieve the visions and goals you have for your life. If there are aspects of yourself that requiring healing or transformation in order for you to move forward in the achievement of your vision and goals, these are addressed and resolved as a part of the Healing & Transformation Coaching process.
